Cover Me Group's story

Kadie a forty-six years old and widowed with four children ages twenty, seventeen, fourteen and ten. Kadie owns a food business. She would like to use this loan to pay for additional baskets of fruit. She started her business to become financially stable and self-dependent.

Kadie will use the profits from her business to feed her family every day. She hopes to own a house from the proceeds of her loan, increase her capital and take care of most of her household expenses. Cover-Me Solidarity group need a loan of 11,000,000 SLL, from which Kadie is entitled to 3,000,000 SLL. Kadie is shown on the right of the picture.

With the proceeds of their previous loan, they were able to meet most of their household expenses and personal needs. They paid for all of the necessary materials needed for them to sell, which made an increase in their capital and generated more profit. They thank Kiva for funding their loan.
