Tina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to finance a new Zoona money transfer shop in her town of Chongwe.

Tina's story

Meet 30 year old Tina. Tina has been operating her Zoona mobile money transfer outlets for nearly six years. Tina credits her success to the financial assistance that she has received from Kiva saying,"With Zoona and Kiva, I have opened up five outlets. I love Zoona and Kiva because they give me a platform to interact with people from different sectors of the community, and I feel proud knowing I am providing a valuable service to people. I am also able to reach my dream of empowering the youth with employment and motivation to create their own careers. Zoona and Kiva have opened many doors for me as an entrepreneur".

Tina has repaid her previous loans and is requesting a Kiva loan so she can boost her working capital in her new shop as it's become a struggle with maintaining sufficient funds to service customers who need access to financial services. She is hopeful the loan will increase the turnover at the shop. The profits will help her fund her two sisters' education as they are still in high school.

Tina thanks the Kiva lenders for their support with the growth of her Zoona mobile money transfer business.
