Elizabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to replace the out-of-stock bestselling items, and to add more shop inventory.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is a 40-year-old married woman with two children who are now in college. She works at her own general store selling cereals, drinks and groceries to support her family. She's been running this business for more than 10 years and is happy that she makes a good monthly profit.

This will be Elizabeth's 6th loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to purchase bestselling items, and she's happy that she has successfully paid back all of her loan dues. She used her profit to cover her medical expenses and school fees for her children, and she is very grateful to Kiva for their massive support to her business.

She has applied for this loan to replace the out-of-stock items and to add more shop inventory to meet her customers' demands. Her dream is to grow into a wholesaling shop someday. She will be solely responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
