Wachapakazi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more stock of cereals and groceries for sale.

Wachapakazi Group's story

Nathan is in his early 40s and is married with one little son. To support his family, he operates a general store that sells a variety of consumable goods, such as cereals and groceries. He has been running this business for 6 years, working from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and he's making some great profit.

This will be his 4th loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. Nathan used his previous loan to replace the out-of-stock kilos of rice, sacks of wheat flour, liters of cooking oil, cartons of water, beans and sugar to meet the growing demand. He's now happy that his business is going on so well and he really appreciates Kiva for the massive support to his loan group "Wachapakazi" which is doing great as well.

He used his profit to pay for his house rent, school fees and uniforms for his children, food for his family and spared the remaining amount for future expansion. His dream is to grow into a whole selling store and he will share this loan with his loan group "Wachapakazi" which has 4 members who will be holding each other for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
