Dhahabu Group "c"'s loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to increase her food inventory as a mama lishe (food stall), and to buy more sacks of charcoal, cans of cooking oil, and a gas cooker to make her daily operations easier.

Dhahabu Group "c"'s story

Sophia, who is in her early 30s, is married with two school-going children. She is a local food vendor, and she has been in this business for six good years. She works daily from 5 am and closes her food stall at 8 pm. She is happy that she is making a great profit that sustains her family.

This will be her second loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. Sophia's previous loan, which she has paid back successfully, allowed her to renovate her food stall, buy utensils, add ingredients for making spicy rice, purchase liters of cooking oil, and buy paraffin for her business to grow. She is now happy that her business has improved, and she really appreciates Kiva for their massive support to her loan group, "Dhahabu C", which is doing great as well.

Sophia is applying for this loan to increase her food inventory as a mama lishe, and to buy more sacks of charcoal, cans of cooking oil, and a gas cooker, to make her daily operations easier. Her dream is to grow into a shining restaurant, and she will share this loan with her 12 fellow group members, who will be responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
