Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The group named "Mujeres Emprendedoras" (Enterprising Women) is in its third loan cycle with the Women's Committee Program. All of the members are working and helping one another to get ahead. They have set a goal of being able to grow and improve their living conditions.

Sra. Rosa is one of the members of the group. She sells "chipas" (cheese bread), a traditional Paraguayan food. Rosa is in charge of making the bread and then selling it as a street vendor in her neighborhood. She is a hardworking and enterprising person who does her best to always fulfill the requests of her customers.

Rosa is requesting a loan in order to buy tapioca flour, cheese, eggs, shortening, anise, salt, and other supplies. This will enable her to continue making cheese bread to sell.
