Sokcheng's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy materials for building a latrine and digging a pond.

Sokcheng's story

Sokcheng, aged 24, lives with her spouse and a child in her own home in the Thmei Village, Ta Lou Commune, Bakan district, PURSAT Province. She has been involved in a business as a tailor for more than two years. Her husband is a farmer. Both of them are earning the net income of about USD 10.00 per day.

Sokcheng has applied for a loan from KIVA via HKL to buy materials for building a latrine, and another portion she will use to dig a pond. She hopes this loan will enable her family to have good health and a better living standard.

This is her first loan cycle for her with KIVA. After this loan, she is planning to repair her house and run one more business. She is very happy and thankful for your generosity.
