Hard Working Fisherwomen Group's story

Mrs Huận is 41 years old and she is married with 4 children.

She has been a fisher-woman for five years.

Huận lives in Hau Loc district, a rural town in Thanh Hoa province. Her income is lower than the national average income, moreover this region often suffered by natural disasters, such as storms, because it is near the sea. She has no collateral and can't get a loan from other banks or credit institutions.

She is a reputable person in the community. She invited her friends and neighbors to establish a solidarity group to get a loan from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution. The main hardship that Huận faces is a lack of capital.

She is requesting a loan to purchase tools and repair the boat for fishing.

With her business profit, Huận hopes for her business to do well and to build a new house. She also hopes for her children to find good jobs.
