Gs. Azacualpa Group's story
Gloria is a lady who is over 40 years old. She lives with her husband and children. Her income has come from her business of selling general groceries and remittances since she was 13 years old. She operates the business at her house in the community of Azacualpa. Most of her customers are neighbors and the people who pass through to other surrounding villages and for shrimping. It is one of the largest in the area, so she has a big demand. In addition, it is on the main street. It is a strategic commercial location because it is traveled by many people. Gloria needs the loan to meet the demand of her customers by investing in the purchase of merchandise, such as rice, beans, sugar, butter, oil, eggs, soups, pastas, tomato sauce, sodas, juices in a variety of flavors, and any type of donuts. She is going to purchase what sells most in order to generate more income. It is the second loan with Prisma and Kiva, and she hopes that we support her financially. Gloria’s dream is that her children become professionals and that she converts her business into a small market. She is requesting the loan with the following people: Evelia, who earns a living selling tortillas, and Nextali, who sells bread. They are hard-working people, who strive daily to have a better life.
