Mercedes Aracely's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped improve the corrals where she raises young pigs destined for sale in the local markets.

Mercedes Aracely's story

Mercedes lives with her three children and her husband in the town of Panchía, Tabaconas, Peru. For two years, 41-year-old Mercedes has earned her living raising pigs as a way of diversifying their income with the sale of young pigs rather than depending solely on coffee, which is her husband's livelihood. In addition, she generates a small income sewing garments, which she sells in her town.

This loan will give Mercedes the opportunity to expand her corrals for raising pigs, thereby increasing her income. With that, she will be able to assure her children's education and her family's care. Thanks to her responsibility and determined, hardworking attitude, she has done well with the last five loans that Norandino has granted her.
