Ingapu-2 (B, E) Village Group's story

Pictured above are Kyaw, Thura, Thida, Khin and Moe, who are group leaders from Ingapu in Kun Yangone Township. There are 9 Proximity clients out of 83 households in this village. Agriculture is the major income source for the people in this village. They raise livestock such as ducks and geese, as well as planting seasonal fruits.

Kyaw is 34 years old (second from the left in the picture)and is the featured borrower representing the village group. He is married and has two children who are in school. His older son is in Grade 6 while the younger daughter is in primary school. Both of his children are the in the top of their classes. Kyaw has around 100 ducks on his farm. He has been operating this farm since 2010.

This new loan will be used for purchasing duck feed and ducklings, which will allow him to sell more eggs in the market. This will boost his income and allow him to save money for his children's school fees.
