Lucinda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase organic fertilizer so she can increase her production and earn a better income for her family.

Lucinda's story

Lucinda lives in a rural area with her spouse. As a couple together, they are young, with one son. Lucinda was able to complete a primary education. She lives in a rustic adobe home with a Spanish tile roof that lacks some basic services. She is a hardworking person with a lot of optimism.

Lucinda and her husband work day after day together to earn enough income to support themselves. She works primarily as a farmer. She has been doing this work for approximately 10 years, producing and selling her goods. What Lucinda and her husband produce they take to sell at provincial fairs in the region and neighboring towns. The principal crops they sow are mostly potatoes, but also broad beans, oats, barley, and other crops in lesser quantities, which are mostly for their own consumption.

Lucinda needs to apply for a loan to purchase organic fertilizer (from chickens). This will help her to increase her production, as well as continue with her sales and earn income to improve her quality of life.
