A loan helped to officially register her daughter in governmental departments in a legal way.

Sila Group's story

Sila is a group which consists of two Syrian Refugees and one Palestinian Refugee. They decided to hold hands and acquire a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua because they became close friends and they all seek to develop their businesses and families' living.

The three group members experienced each others' fun and sorrow. That's why they are working hard to improve their lives despite all that they have experienced before.

Salwa is the featured borrower of Sila group. She is a 19-year-old married mother of two. Her loan share will be used to officially register her daughter in governmental departments in a legal way.

She is the lady at the center of the picture.

As for the other group members, Nour is the Palestinian Refugee, sitting at the far left side of the picture, while Khadija is the Syrian Refugee at the far right side of the picture.
