Cristina Jeaneth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more cashews to continue selling.

Cristina Jeaneth's story

Cristina is 42 years old, studied up to the third grade, and has been the single mother of 2 children, ages 16 and 20 since her partner left her 11 years ago.

For 11 years, Cristina has worked selling cashews, necessity brought her to work at this business when her partner left her. This motivated her to get ahead and today she thanks God because her daughter is studying in secondary school and, thanks to the business, she can give her what she needs so she can study. Every day, she gets up at 4:00 am because at 5:00 am she purchases the processed cashews and then she bags them to sell them. She travels 80 kilometers by bus every day.

She has been supported by two Kiva loans of which one she has paid off completely and the other she got this year and is paying punctually each month. Now she needs a new loan to purchase more cashews to continue selling.

Her dream is that her children become professionals, to establish a clothing sore, and with the earnings from her work pay off the loan.
