Alejandrina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a taxi so that she can work and generate more income for her family.

Alejandrina's story

Sra. Alejandrina has been married to her husband for more than eight years. They have three children. She became pregnant at a young age and had to quit her studies in order to work and help her husband. Alejandrina spent many years working at various workshops and bakeries. A few years ago, she was motivated to make homemade bread to sell and sold her product at the neighborhood market. Her husband works as a driver for an interprovincial transportation company. With all of their savings, Alejandrina and her husband were able to buy a plot of land outside of the city. They currently live there in a structure that only has two rooms.

Sra. Alejandrina received training at a center that helps women entrepreneurs who want to drive. For this reason, she is requesting a loan in order to purchase a vehicle so that she can provide taxi services as part of a group of female radio taxi drivers who also came from the same center where she was trained. This will enable her to work with her young children with her and to improve her family’s quality of life.
