Clara's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to repair her oven and to buy flour, sugar, honey, candies, and other supplies.

Clara's story

Clara is a woman who is of strong character and determination. She has always been a hard worker. At the age of 75, she still continues to wake up early and go to bed late in order to get everything ready for her business. Clara sells pastries, baked goods, caramels, donuts, and cakes. She has worked in this business for 20 years. Clara has the unconditional support of her six children and that of her late husband, up until two years ago.

Eager to strengthen her business, Clara has returned to MiCrédito and Kiva in order to obtain funding. This will allow her to make repairs to her oven and to buy products such as flour, sugar, honey, candies, and other raw materials. In the future she wants to retire, relax, and leave her business in her daughter’s hands.
