Tukolane Group's story

Ally is in his mid-30s and is married with two school-going children. He operates a motorcycling business famously known as "Boda-boda" to serve his community with transport service. He has been in this business for over six years, and he works daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. to raise his weekly profit. This will be his 8th loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used his previous loan to service his old motorbike and to buy side mirrors for his tricycle. He's happy that his business is going so well, and he really appreciates Kiva for their massive support to his loan group, "Tukolane", which is doing great as well. With the profit earned, Ally paid back his loan dues, and covered household expenses and tuition fees for his daughter. Ally is applying for the loan to buy a brand new motorbike that will be used for commercial purpose. His dreams is to open up a spare parts selling business and to provide a better education to his children. , and he will share this loan with his loan group members, who will be accountable for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
