Virabu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase a few heifers in order to increase her livestock headcount.
Virabu is 55, married, and the mother of three boys and two girls. Her youngest son is still a student; her other children are independent and have left the family home. Almost 25 years ago, Virabu became involved in animal husbandry and agriculture, two activities which constitute her family's main source of income. Thanks to her very hard work, she currently has four cows and 20 sheep on her farm and she also grows clover for resale on 1.6 hectares of land. Virabu has turned to Bai Tushum Bank and requested a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) to buy a few heifers and increase her cattle headcount. She is planning to use the earnings from her loan to further develop her farming business. She would also like to save enough money to build a large house with a barn and a garden.
