Roberta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to supplement the grape production in order to offer product and work alternatives.

Roberta's story

Roberta is a woman who works arduously so that her children can have a profession. She currently lives with her husband in her own house within the municipality. She earns a living cultivating carrots, tomatoes, peas, and beans.

Because of her commitment to her family, she is a person who is admired and respected among her neighbors. Roberta participated in the formation of the grape production. This training was provided by the Fautapo enterprise organization. Roberta, taking advantage of the knowledge she has, started her grape production business for which she has her plantation; however, she currently needs to buy organic fertilizer ("guano" [bird droppings]) for the grape plants, a water pump, and complete the construction of the wall to protect the vineyard. For this reason, she needs to satisfy the need for the good of her production business.

Roberta knows that her grape production business will be very useful in the region she lives in since she will contribute to the region's food security and sovereignty.

Roberta has worked in agricultural production for a long time and this knowledge will also be useful to contribute to the new grapevine production business.
