Gertrudes's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the maintenance and checking of her jeepney.

Gertrudes's story

Life isn't always good, but Gertrudes is still thankful that she is alive and has her family on her side. She lives in Malibay, Pasay, Philippines. She is 45 years old and is married to Jonathan who works as a driver and mechanic. They have four children who are still in school. She has a jeepney, a Philippine twin-benched jitney bus, seating about a dozen passengers. Aside from her jeepney, she also has a piggery for additional income. She and her husband are helping each other in raising their children.

For the continuity and expansion of her business, she realized that asking for financial assistance is an option. She would like to acquire PHP 50,000 for the maintenance and checking of her jeepney as well as in changing oil. She would like to extend her heartfelt thanks to those who will support her business.

Gertrudes' dream is to be successful in all her business. Her personal dream is for her children to finish their studies and live a good life.

Gertrudes is a member of the Center for Community Transformation and meets weekly with her fellowship partners to share her life’s testimony and business experience with her fellowship members. She also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationship among partners, and pay Micro Finance loans.
