Vision 2020 Group's story

Patience is a 42-year-old woman, staying with her family in Glen View, Harare. Patience is a cross border trader who goes to South Africa to restock clothes and shoes, which she sells locally. She has a success story, despite all the challenges that she faces. She has managed to pay school fees for her children with the little she makes. When she travels, her husband is the one who will be at the shed. After her return, she will be at the shed and her husband usually goes to town twice a week to restock the hardware materials that they are beginning to branch into. Capital is their main constraint. They have to wait for a certain amount of sales to be able to restock.

She stays at her sister’s house and has four dependants, two who are still in school. Patience is part of the Vision 2020 Group and they are very optimistic people. They are missioned to have attained so much by 2020. She hopes to work very hard with one thing in mind, which is the betterment of her family. She wants $300 to increase stock in both her clothing and hardware businesses to make enough profit to cover household expenses.
