Maria Auxiliadora Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies, such as cheese, eggs, butter, aniseed, salt, and more, in order to make "chipas".

Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

The "Maria Auxiliadora" group came together in Santani city. There are 18 members, all women, and all hard-working and independent. The group is on its second loan cycle, and the members are working hard in order to grow and move forward.

Francisca is one member of the group. She is young and very good looking. She works as a domestic servant until noon each day, and, in the afternoons, produces starch. Once a week she also sells "chipas", a cheesy bun from Paraguay, that she herself prepares. With profits from this work, she has the means to help her family.

Francisca is applying for this loan in order to buy supplies, such as cheese, eggs, butter, aniseed, salt, and more, in order to make "chipas". She can thus continue with her business and fight for a higher quality of life for her family.
