Ngone's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 200 kilograms of rice, 20 liters of oil, one box of tomatoes, 600 kilograms of millet, one sac of sugar, and spices.

Ngone's Group's story

This group of four members is a part of the banc villageois that was created in December 2010. These dynamic women share a sense of solidarity and work in commerce, livestock raising, and farming.

Ngone, who is seated on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the featured borrower [of the group]. She is 69 years old, a widow, and a mother of seven children, five sons and two daughters.

Ngone has worked selling cereals, spices, and food products for years and has a lot of experience. She runs a shop from her home.

With this new loan, she plans to buy 200 kilograms of rice, 20 liters of oil, one box of tomatoes, 600 kilograms of millet, one sac of sugar, and spices, which she will then resell at retail in her shop.

With her earnings, she plans to buy goats to add to her herd and support her family's needs.
