Ines Alfonso's story
Ines Alfonso E. G. is 55 years old and married with 7 children. Six of them live independently and the seventh is 14 and still lives at home. Ines works buying and selling staple grains, a business he started as a high school teacher when his salary was so low that he decided to try out selling pigs. This helped him much more than he was anticipating, and from there he moved on to his current venture which has been very profitable. Since its beginning, his business has prospered since he has been able to buy more grains from the wholesalers each time, and although he has had many health problems, he has stayed strong, and has managed to provide his older children with a good education. His youngest daughter is still in school, and he wants to see her grow up to become a successful young woman with solid values. Ines' deepest wish is to buy a bulk truck which will allow him to transport grains from the northern part of the country.
