Confiando En Dios 2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy purses and clothing to sell.

Confiando En Dios 2 Group's story

Anita lives in a small, isolated community in the Dominican Republic known as a batey. A batey is typically composed of Haitian workers and their families who have immigrated to the DR in order to work in the sugarcane fields. Despite the difficult living situation and general lack of access to the outside world, Anita and her other group members have started small businesses with Esperanza loans in order to augment their household income and help provide for their families.

Anita is quite the businesswoman and prides herself on having whatever product the customer might need. She regularly sells underwear, bras, sandals, and purses, but also has a stock of perfumes, deodorants, etc. should her client be interested in purchasing more! Anita works hard to take care of her children and dreams of being able to make a better life for them.

Thank you for your consideration of Anita and her group, Confiando en Dios (Trusting in God).
