Floriya's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more wrought iron for manufacturing vehicle parts in her husband's shop.

Floriya's story

Floriya is a 34-year-old married woman living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. Her husband has been manufacturing spare vehicle parts for many years. He buys wrought iron from the market and melts it at high temperatures. He then injects it into the dies for giving it specific shapes. In this way, he manufactures the spare parts, sells them into the market, and makes enough income to contribute to the family's livelihood.

Floriya has three children, and she barely manages to satisfy their needs. She is required to provide them with good food, health, and education. She needs to earn additional income to support her family well. Currently, she has requested a loan to buy more raw material for manufacturing vehicle parts so that her husband can increase his sales. She expects a boost in their earnings and wishes to spend part of the profits on the expansion of their business.

Floriya is very thankful to Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
