A loan helped to buy more materials to make clothes.

Winnie's story

Winnie has been a happily married lady for the last 10 years. She is a mother of two children, aged 5 and 2 years, and they live in Eldoret. She supports her family and her siblings, who are in school.

Winnie is a tailor by profession. She likes her job, which she has been doing for the past couple of years now, and has blended well with it. Her skill in making fashion clothes and custom-made outfits has won her a name in the textile industry. Customers come from far and wide to buy clothes from her, and she makes good sales and profits as well.

Her challenge has been to meet the high demand that she is getting from her clients. With this loan, she will buy more materials to make new clothes and boost her business.

The profit she makes after sales will go towards paying her loan and supporting her family. She likes helping people, and she has employed one person to assist her with making clothes. This is her first loan. Her dream is to expand her business and have two tailoring shops.
