A loan helped to buy a water filter.

Wael's story

Wael is a 35-year-old married man living in Rafah city in Gaza Strip. He lives in a small house with his wife and two children. They are toddlers and he works in the public sector where his income is very limited and unstable so he cannot afford to buy a water filter. Wael took a USD loan from FATEN to buy a water filter for water purification and desalination. This filter is of a huge benefit for his family. Gaza Strip is under siege and clean sweet water is very hard to obtain. People in Gaza have only salt sea water to use and the water filter helped Wael's family drink clean water. He thanks you for helping him bring up his little children healthily, where they can enjoy one of their basic rights, drinking clean water. Wael appears in the photo with his water filter.
