Brillo De Luna Group's story

The “Brillo de Luna” loan group will start their first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Los Andes focal center. They're made up of ten members and led by a board of directors, of which Olga is president.

The loan they take out will benefit microenterprises where Olga is a member. Right now, she has a business selling fruits. She learned this business from her own initiative about a year ago. T

he loan she's now taking out will be to grow her capital, buying fruit in bulk from the larger vendors in the city of La Paz. Later, she will sell them in her shop. This form of work allows her to earn income to support her family economically, as she's married and has three children.
