but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies like pork, chicken, fruit juice and bananas.

Charina's story

Charina is a 29-year-old, married woman. She lives in the rural area of Talibon, Bohol, with her husband and one kid. She runs an eatery and sells dishes to locals in her town, and she is responsible for feeding her entire family. She also sells basic commodities like eggs, noodles, cooking oil, and candies.

She has been engaged in food vending for two years now, and her livelihood is running well and increasing day by day. She decided to augment her current business, but the main issue is insufficient amounts of products. Therefore, Charina is applying for a Kiva loan from its field partner CEVI because she has to buy supplies like pork, chicken, fruit juice and bananas.

In this way, she would be able to cope with demand. She can use the profit amount as savings to fulfill their future needs as well. Charina is very thankful to Kiva for the continued support.
