Lorm's Group's story
Lorm is a 28-year-old married mother who is living with 1 small child in Kampong Thom province, in Cambodia. To feed her small child, she struggles to earn income through rice farming and selling grocery items. For around 8 years, she has been growing rice to make a living.
During her spare time, Lorm works as a paid worker to earn additional income. She can generate an income of about 7.50 USD per day that allows her to save 3.50 USD each day for the future.
As a group leader of six members, Lorm will use her first loan to buy a water filter to provide more clean water for daily drinking. In the future, she hopes to have enough clean water to drink and protect her beloved child from infectious disease.
