Sin Gu Village's story

Sin Gu village group is located in Dedayae Township. This village is in the Delta area in Myanmar and over 99 households are located in the village. This village group includes 16 village customers. Pictured above are some of the group clients: Pho, Tun, Aung, Soe, and Tin. Included in the picture above (first from right) is Pho, who is 43 years old and lives with his children and parents. He is the featured borrower for this loan. Farming is the main source of income for Pho’s family and has been practiced by the family for generations. This year, Pho will focus on growing vegetables and crops. With this upcoming loan from Kiva, Pho is going to buy necessary farming inputs such as seeds, fertilizer, and compost, which will help to boost his income. Pho wants his children to continue their education until graduation.
