Angela Georgina's story

Ángela lives in Los Arenales, a town that suffered much damage and destruction from the April 16th earthquake, along with much of the province of Manabí.

After she was left alone, to earn her living with the resources that she had and with help from loans, Ángela ran a grocery store in her home where she sold all types of products such as rice, sugar, oil, detergent, vegetables, and fruit. She says that the crisis caused by the earthquake affected her greatly because the walls of her house and store fell down, and she was left with very insecure housing.

Ángela has repaired her home and her store, but now she hasn't got the money to buy stock. She is seeking a loan to buy staple groceries.
