Joyce's Group's story

K. Joyce, 56, is a hard working and devoted married mother of 12 children. Those children who are still in school are at the University and in Secondary school. Joyce also helps to care for three dependants. She is a business lady selling bananas and clothes. Being that she sells from Akashayi in Ibaare trading centre, she is able to manage both businesses. This is Joyce’s sixth loan and her loans have always helped her in buying more fertilizers and manure for her banana plantation plus buying more clothes; and as a result, she has been able to increase her monthly profits to 150,000 shillings because of her quality matooke and clothes for sale. She has a dream of having a happy and united family as well as having business expansion and profit increase. Joyce needs a loan to help with improving her banana plantation by employing manpower and buying fertilizers.
