Fahari Yetu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more bags of cement, timber, plaster and gypsum boards to sell.

Fahari Yetu Group's story

Salumu is in his late 20s and married with one little kid. He operates a five-year-old hardware business that sells construction supplies. He previously started with a timber-selling business before growing into a hardware business. He works daily from 6 a.m to 9 p.m to raise his monthly profit.

This will be his second loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. He will use this loan to purchase more bags of cement, timber, plaster and gypsum boards to sell. He used his previous loan to improve his business by adding welding materials and iron sheets to sell. He's happy that he has cleared all of his debts and he really appreciates Kiva for the massive support to his loan group.

Salumu dreams of growing into a wholesale construction store someday and he will share this loan with his fellow group member of "Fahari Yetu". They will be responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
