Mujeres En Lucha Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy: meat, tortillas, vegetables, oil, gas and soft drinks.

Mujeres En Lucha Group's story

Gladys, who is better known as Gla, decided to start selling tacos six months ago, motivated by her parents. At first she only sold them at weekends in the evenings.

Nevertheless, for the last two years and thanks to the earnings she got, she managed to expand her taco stall. She set up in some premises where she provides a service from Monday to Friday with extensive opening hours. Gla attributes her success to her particular meat seasoning, the sauce and particularly her customer service.

At the moment, with the loan requested from VFMexico, she will be able to invest in meat, tortillas, vegetables, oil, gas and soft drinks so her customers can continue enjoying her excellent food.

It is fitting to mention that she is part of a group called "Mujeres en lucha", which originated in a town in the state of Veracruz, which is mainly known for having pre-Hispanic roots.
