Abajyamugambi Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more shoes to sell.

Abajyamugambi Group's story

Abajyamugambi, which means “people who plan” in English. The group members sell different items and they are all working hard to improve the welfare of their families. Jacqueline, 27, is this group’s leader, and on its behalf she has applied for a 6,870,000 RWF loan through Kiva's field partner Urwego Opportunity to be apportioned among its members.

Jacqueline herself is married with a three-year-old child who has not begun school yet. For the past two years she has sold shoes as a business. With her share of the loan she would like to buy more shoes to sell. With the profits from her business she would like to renovate her house.
