Elizabeth's story

Meet Elizabeth, a responsible 20 year-old with drive to make a success of life. Elizabeth is the youngest of five siblings and daughter to a self-employed father. As the basic cost of living has increased within the last year, Elizabeth's father is unable to assist with her studies.

Elizabeth took it upon herself to cover her university costs when she starts studying . Unfortunately, her previous job did not help improve her financial state. It did, however, give her the necessary knowledge about mobile transactions. Elizabeth heard about Zoona and how the company assists agents to become entrepreneurs and become financially independent whilst helping communities with financial inclusion. Elizabeth loves that her business eases her once burdened community to send and receive money securely. Elizabeth reaches out to Kiva for funds to sustain her business, as expenses she incurs deplete the much needed profits for her future studies.

Elizabeths' determination to make a success of her life is to ultimately be able to support her father, as she says he is the reason she has matured into the go-getter she is.
