A loan helped To buy grocery goods.

Gun Keshari's story

Mrs. Gun Keshari M. is a grocery shopkeeper in Thecho village. She opened her grocery shop 6 years ago to improve the living standard of her family. She sells different types of grocery items such as rice, maize, pulses, biscuits and noodles in her shop. The demand for grocery goods is increasing in that area so she is requesting a loan of 30,000 Rupees to buy grocery items to meet the demand.

Mrs. Gun Keshari M. had already taken a first loan from Kiva and had cleared her loan. The previous loan helped her to raise the level of income from her shop.

Mrs. M. lives with her mother-in-law, husband and one son. Her husband is Shiva Das M. and is a farmer. Her son is studying in grade 8.
