Henry Antonio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in a greater variety of fruits like tamarillo, passion fruit, pineapple, melons and vegetables like string beans, scallions, celery, chilies, etc.

Henry Antonio's story

Henry is a 41 year old micro-entrepreneur. Making the most of his experience as an assistant in neighborhood stores, he decided 9 years ago to become independent. With his savings he organized his own business selling vegetables like tomatoes, lettuce, onion, carrots, garlic, plantain, yucca, etc. He works from Monday to Saturday from 1 am until 4 pm and his customers are the inhabitants of the area where he lives.

He is currently requesting his first loan from Kiva through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. He plans to invest it in a greater variety of fruits like tamarillo, passion fruit, pineapple, melons and vegetables like string beans, scallions, celery, chilies, etc. His dream for prosperity is to strengthen his business and generate sufficient resources to improve his quality of living and that of his family.
