Zeeba's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy a power loom for her fabrics weaving business.
Zeeba is a 53-year-old woman who works weaving traditional clothes business. Zeeba is a power loom worker by profession because she wanted to help her husband support the family and meet the household expenses. A loom is a device used to weave cloth and tapestry. The basic purpose of any loom is to hold the wrap threads under tension to facilitate the interweaving of the weft threads. She works every day for the sake of her family, who live in a community in Multan, Pakistan. She is working hard to develop their businesses and living at the same time. She earns a limited income to cover the needs and expenses of her seven children. Nothing is more important to Zeeba than her seven children. That is why she is always seeking to develop her business. Her main source of income is her weaving traditional clothes business. In order to continue her success, she is now requesting a loan from KIVA’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, which she will invest in buying power loom and materials such as cotton, fabrics in different colors. Zeeba and her family will be thankful to the Kiva, its lenders and field partner BRAC Pakistan for helping them by funding this loan to improve their living standard.
