Jane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cows for fattening and sale.

Jane's story

Jane lives at Nabusajja with her family. She rears cows for survival. She also rears and sells goats. She plans to buy cows for fattening. She is very shrewd and hardworking.

Jane is 46 years old. She and her husband rear cattle and goats to earn income.

She has been borrowing from another institution but was attracted to UGAFODE by the low interest rate on agriculture loans. She is a mother to five children who all attend school.

Jane has been raising cows, sheep and goats for more than 10 years now. She buys her livestock from local markets. She will earn between UGX 500,000 to UGX 100,000 for a cow depending on the size. Thanks to these profits, Jane is able to provide for her family (expenses such as health care, clothing, food and education).

She hopes to improve her finances in the future so she can develop her business and take good care of her children.
