Mary's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy another quality breed of dairy cow. so as to meet milk demand.
Mary lives with her husband and says that they only want to have more children when they are sure that they can raise them without worrying about where their next meal will come from or that the children would be forced to leave school because they can't provide for them. Mary owns a small plot of inherited land on which she has been practicing mixed farming for more than five years. She grows a variety of crops and keeps dairy cows and poultry. The income she makes from selling milk, eggs and crops is insufficient to meet her family's expenses. She needs to improve her income level, and that is why she is seeking a loan to buy a quality dairy cow. She plans to buy not just an ordinary cow but a quality breed of cow that will produce between 10-20 liters of milk a day. The additional milk will result in additional income, and hence, improved living conditions. The income generated from selling the milk will be used to fully repay the loan and will also go toward the education of her children. She will also benefit from cow manure, which will be used to increase the fertility level of her farm, hence increasing productivity.
