Forth Street Sister Group's story
Isata is a 41-year-old mother of four children, ages 20, 18, 14 and 11. Isata sells food as her business. She started the business to be independent and financially support her children. She currently has one family member who help in the business.
Isata and her group members have requested for a loan, a total of SLL 4,000,000. Of this amount, Isata is to receive SLL 1,000,000, which she will use to buy milk, sugar, tea, ovaltine, cheese, lunncheon meat. The profits will help her pay for food, buy learning material, and water.
Isata hopes to continue doing more saving for her children’s education. Isata is shown at the right of the picture. Isata and the rest of her group members thank you for your support.
