Na Tau 40 Group's story

Mrs. Phong is a 28-year-old Thai ethnic woman who lives in a poor and remote area. She is married and lives with her husband and her six-year-old son in a Thai traditional stilt house.

Phong's family mainly relies on agricultural production to earn a living. They engage in plenty of activities such as growing rice, cassava, and corn, as well as raising pigs and chickens. Despite working hard, this couple always have difficulties in life. The family has been recognized as a poor household by the Vietnamese government.

This is the third time that she has taken a loan from the Anh Chi Em program, and she will use the loan to buy piglets and develop her pig farming. She hopes that with the support of Anh Chi Em, both financially and non-financially, her pig farming will grow fast and make more profit and then improve her family's living conditions.

The couple dreams that their small family will always be truly happy and have a brighter future. In the picture, she is the young woman who stands at the first from the right.
