Bogotà, Bogota, Colombia / Retail

María Teresa's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to carry out an expansion of her premises for which she needs to buy building materials and more stocks of grocery items, vegetables, dairy products etc.

María Teresa's story

María is a shopkeeper in the city of Bogotá. She is 31 years old and is single. Her main dream is to convert her business into a reputable supermarket in the area where she runs her current business, which is a mini-market and general store.

She arrived from Venezuela in 2010 with some savings and the wish to make progress. She began to buy the shop fittings: refrigerators, glass display cabinets, chilled cabinets and food, as well as miscellaneous products.

María is a dedicated worker and her business is open every day of the week. Currently she is applying for her first loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to carry out an expansion of her premises for which she needs to buy building materials and more stocks of grocery items, vegetables, dairy products etc.

With this investment her business will be more in demand and her income will make up for the effort. Please support her.
