but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to improve and extend her workshop by buying sewing machines so she can have better products to sell and so generate a better income for her family.

Nazaria's story

Nazaria is from the city of Sucre but for family reasons came to the town of Monteagudo many years ago now. She has her husband Hugo, and they both come from very humble families. He makes a living providing his services as a bricklayer and they have limited income, which is why Nazaria started making bread to sell, to help provide for her family. They have two children aged 5 and 7 years. With the aim of making progress in life Nazaria did a training course at a sewing and dressmaking Institute so she could have a skill and generate an income in order to make progress as a family.

She needs the loan to improve and extend her workshop by buying machines and raw materials, which will give her more options to expand her sewing services. By having seed capital she will be able to have her own workshop and to grow as a businesswoman with a new business which will provide an income for her family. This will give her children the opportunity to have an education and have the opportunity to make progress in life by studying.
