but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

Jigitugu Group's story

Astan, with her hand on the merchandise in the photo, is a Malian woman, aged 44, who did not have the chance to go to school. She is married and the mother of five children, of whom two are in school, and one of them is in Koran school. These children are aged 10 to 25. Her husband is a cattle farmer.

Astan is a merchant of various women’s supplies (kitchen utensils, tubs, clothing, curtains, bed sheets, etc.) She has been in this business for over eight years.

She has turned to RMCR loans to purchase many commercial products. She gets her supplies in Bamako and sells at the nearby markets, in town, and in her home. From her sales, her profits can range from 50,000 to 100,000 francs per month. She manages to meet family needs, such as: healthcare, school fees, and clothing for the children.

She has had no problems with her business so far. For the future, her wish is to have more funds to develop her business well.
