Loans Help Me Much Group's story
Hồ is standing first from the left in the photo. She is 58 years old and married with two children. Hồ lives in Hoang Hoa district, a semi-urban town in Thanh Hoa province. In this group, her circumstance is the most difficult because her husband passed away a long time ago. She has to work hard to foster her children and keep sending them to school. She is a carpenter and has made wood furniture for more than 10 years. Her family is a low-income household in the village; moreover, this region often suffers from natural disasters such as floods and drought. The main hardship that Hồ faces is lack of capital. In 2016, Hồ joined Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution to improve her business. Hồ has successfully repaid three loans from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution. She is requesting a loan to purchase wood to make wood furniture for sale. With her business profit, Hồ hopes for her business to do well, for her family to be healthy and happy, and to maintain a successful business.
