A loan helped to buy sheep to raise and resell.

Nema Group's story

Issa is a 45-year-old sheep farmer. He is married with four children, three of whom currently attend school. His wife is 26 years old and does artisanal embroidery on sheets and curtains. She sells her goods to residents of the village and surrounding areas to help her husband support the family. After eight years working for breeders, Issa decided to raise his own livestock. He started his business with capital borrowed from RMCR which he used to buy animals. He buys young lambs in the village market and those of neighbouring villages, raises them for a time, and then resells them in the same markets for a profit. To this end, Issa makes a profit of 15,000 to 30,000 francs, which allows him to provide for his family. He is happy but has ambitions to grow his business in the future.
